| Sorry, my entries are slim to none now. I have hardly anything to say, other than I'm obsessed with Shaman King and I just finished watching Code Geass. There's been alot going on, actually. | So what's been going on lately besides Death Note anime finishing up and my internet going out alot? Well... On Friday I went out with my cousin and her mom to Six Flags. It was pretty fun. We rode most of the thrill rides (except for a few, and especially the Hellevator... or Superman Tower of Power for obvious reasons) and then went to the water park. After that, her mom came back to my house and talked with my mom for about an hour while my cousin and I played video games and watched one ep. of Suzumiya, then we parted. I love my little cousin to death, so I was upset for a while afterwards. ;-; While at Six Flags, I ended up seeing two boys I knew from school that worked there. That was sort of funny, seeing how when I went with Grace I saw two boys I knew from school just hanging out in the water park. Speaking of Grace... We still haven't gathered up our stories... Don't know when we will, but I'm starting to forget them. O_O It's been almost a month! Ahhh. And yeah... She's leaving on the 11th or so of this month and leaving for 10 days. I hope we at least get it written up before then. I'm gonna miss her! T^T And umm... Even though It's no where near August yet, I'm supposedly leaving myself for maybe 2 days in August to go to Holiday World. I can't wait to ride the Voyage. #2 coaster, baby! *Ahem* Anyways... I need someone to feed and take care of my cat while I'm gone in order to go... x_x Meep. So tomorrow the 2nd Suzumiya boxset comes out. I can't wait to get it~ I'm also going to probably get some manga and stuff tomorrow, too. After that I'm not spending any more money for a while, that's for sure. I have to save up the rest I have for Holiday World. After the trip I'll probably be back to spending again if I still have money, as Phantom Hourglass' US release date is set for August and a few other things are coming out in late July, too. Bah! ._. Also planning on looking for a job at the end of the month. Like I said, I have money... But It's not much, and I need the rest of it after what I buy tomorrow for the trip. GAAH. That's about it. Last night was pretty interesting, and random I must say... And today has been too. Early this morning, around 4:30 am, I had the TV on G4 and they had the Jousei Kousei (Girl's High) opening on there... Weird, cause It's an anime and I never see their anime block on there anymore. They flipped it to some cute promotion for a video game about a Chibi Bear though... o.o; Speaking of anime related stuff, Nanatsuiro Drops came out today. It's a new anime and you know what that means... More summer anime is on the way. I can't wait, because Zero no Tsukaima Season 2 is coming as well as Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, too. | I've had a good weekend...
Thursday, if you could count it, my brother came over and spent some time with me. I kicked his ass at Super Smash Bros Melee. >D I didn't really care though... I just wanted to play it with someone. We then ate pizza and just sat around. Afterwards, he left. He's very busy lately.
Anyways, Thursday morning.. I also discovered another show on Cartoon Network that is poorly treated as an anime. It's called Idaten Jump; look it up. It's on at 6 AM on Thurs and Fris only... It also has its own toy line from Hasbro. What's going through CN's staff's mind is; however, 'We can't have competition for our Narutoz and our Pokemanz, so let's put it on at 6 AM so no one will watch it.' Perfect idea CN. Yet another anime being pushed to early morning viewing. When I've never even heard of it, you know It's a bad thing.
On Friday, I went to a picnic with my parents. It was a really crappy one... All the rides were blown up jumpy things... And they have half the games fixed, so I just made some crappy sand art, did the 'shoot the water in the mark' game, played a casino type game with my dad, and then all of us left and got White Castle. Yep... That's about it.
Saturday I went out and got Disgaea Volume 1 and When They Cry (Higurashi) Volume 1... The dub for Disgaea is so much funnier than the original. I love the original Japanese VA for Laharl though... I'll never change my opinion on that one. His laugh in the original version is just too funny. I also miss Flonne's 'Laharlu-san' but I can get over that. It was more charming than the original... But It's really not that great of an anime to begin with. I just love the characters... But the game is so hard, or I just suck at strategy RPGs. :X
I ended up fucking up my mom's DVD player Saturday night, too. Had her going off... All I needed to do was look in the manual, but she was bitching at me the whole time I was trying to fix it... ._.
That's about all that's really gone on... I'm playing video games.... But keeping the progess secret for now. Also, Phantom Hourglass is out! Would you import it for $50? I'm tempted to... But I might just wait. However, an official US release date isn't here yet... I'm impatient. Grrr... Yep, ja ne now. | | |
